"Song and Dance Lady"

This painting was inspired by a lady singing and playing musical instruments for
children at a country art fair. My daughter, Jenny, was so intent in making the little
wooden dolls dance to the music, it was hard to take her away when it was time to go.
I was very much impressed with the beautiful simplicity of the Lady's country art. The
music, the song, her lovely attire, the fine craft of her doll and a little girl's
delight created a moment that just had to be captured on canvas.
